We Are Nations recently announced the acquisition of Sector Six Apparel, an esports apparel brand specializing in jerseys and custom team wear for all.
“As Nations expands into working with global multi-channel projects, we wanted to make sure we stayed very good at supplying basic quality products to everyone at a good price and with ease of use and scale,” said Nations CEO Patrick Mahoney.
Sector Six is made up of Zachary Sass (Owner and Founder), Josh Whatley (Owner and Brand Director), and Mitchell Cooper (Lead Designer).
Zack founded Sector Six while in college, and now oversees production and company strategy. He has been involved in esports for seven years, having started in the graphic design field.
“I started Sector Six kind of on a whim. After doing a few jersey designs for some freelance clients, I noticed a lapse in the quality and availability of jerseys and apparel overall for anyone who wants a professional team,” said Zack. “This started my interest in starting my own brand to kind of eliminate the lack of availability for the everyday group of players that wanted to build their own brand.”
Josh has six years of experience in the esports industry consisting of team managing, merchandise and advising. He manages the day to day operations of the business.
“Being part of the We Are Nations family is huge for the overall brand positioning of Sector Six,” said Josh. “With the additional resources we are given as part of this deal, we can really position ourselves as the go to brand for jerseys and other team wear for teams of any size.”
